What do you think librarians do?
I think librarians are book worms. Haha, not really though. As a librarian, it is important to know book and be interested in them though, because he or she will always be with them for the rest of their working career. I think librarians help people search for books and recommended them too, but also I think that they help around the library, categorizing records and doing storytelling for children. They would organize books and put them in the computer all day and also help people find books. For a librarian, they must have a lot of knowledge in books and where they are all at.
What do you think would be really cool if librarians started doing it?
I think it would be really cool if librarians not only helped around with books, but more with the computer technology also. To have more knowledge in the computer apps and programs to better assist people who come to the library. It would be cool also if librarians knew more about books and e-books online to make it easier for us, instead of checking out numerous books from the library creating more luggage.
What do you think the library of the future might look like?
In the future, I think that the library would look like a place either full of more books, or a place full of kindles and nooks. There would just be tons of kindles and nooks lying around the book shelves or maybe even a personal one for each of us to check out and have tons of books on there. Or it could be turned around, and instead there would be more and more books in the library. Either way, I think in the future, there would be more resources in the library.

COLLEGE FOR ME(:
What do you hope to study when you go to college and why?
When I get into college, I hope to study nursing. I like the idea of helping others in general, just like everyone else. I want to become a neo-natal nurse and help infant babies begin the start of their lives. Ever since I was little, I always loved little babies and young children. They're always so cute and soft and everything they do makes me laugh. When I go study nursing in college, I hope I learn more depth into taking care of babies. I want them to grow up and live a good life and I believe it starts in the hands of the neo-natal nurse after getting apart from its mother. I hope that in the few weeks of life starting in the hospital, I will help the baby grow healthy and prepare its life.
How is the Pre-Collegiate program helping you meet your goals?
The Pre-Collegiate program is helping me meet my goals because this is a medical program. Luckily for me, this year there is a Nursing class. Using that class, I can learn more about Nursing and how I need to prepare for it throughout college. It gives me more information about Nursing, the program itself, by the student nurses teaching in class, and so that we can relate to each other, because they are students themselves getting ready to approach patients in the hospital. The program in general, is giving me a glimpse of college and it gets me prepared to what I will have to go through for the next few years of my life. I like that because this is a medical program, we go more deeply into medical related topics and studies, which helps gain my knowledge more into the biology of life.
